The Acting Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy, Mr. Aruna Amirthanayagam, stated this yesterday at a pre-departure orientation to send off 140 young men and women, members of EducationUSA, who are beneficiaries of the scholarships.

Amirthanayagam said the initiative was introduced to remove the financial barrier faced by some talented Nigerian students studying in the US.
