The crusade organised by the Deeper Christian Life Ministry that took place last Sunday at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos, turned out to be an unforgettable experience for the mammoth crowd that witnessed the event.

They had assembled from different parts of the state with huge expectation from the special encounter with God through the ministration of the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi.

Expectedly, the congregation had stormed the venue to receive spiritual blessings and have their lives turned around for good. The congregation was also motivated to pray for the rain of blessings to come down during the course of the event long before the pastor mounted the podium to minister.

Speaking on the topic: Wonder of turning Bitter to Better, Kumuyi assured the expectant crowd that no one would return home the same, as he urged them to wave goodbye to their lamentations and sufferings in order to pave way for their happiness and laughter.

“The time of change has come for whoever is ready to replace the ‘I’ from the word ‘bitter’ with ‘E’ in the word ‘better.’ The only difference in the two words are I and E and God is willing to replace the I in that bitterness in your life with E and that E is Emmanuel, who is Jesus.

“God is promising you that He would even do better unto you than your beginnings when He would turn you sorrow to joy, your crying to laughter and your bitterness to better things and better days,” he said.

Continuing, Kumuyi said: “You will need to repent and turn away from your transgressions. You will need to denounce your bitter life, which would in turn, bring blessings and you will begin to live a better life.”

The pastor prayed for those who came out en mass to replace ‘I’ in their lives with ‘E’ by accepting Jesus as their Lord and personal Saviour. This was followed by testimonies of what God did instantaneously while prayers were on for God’s showers of blessing.
