The National President of Yewaland Development Forum (YDF), Alhaji Ayo Adeyemi, has urged the people of Yewaland to join hands with the Forum to develop the area and Ogun State.

Adeyemi reiterated the firm commitment of the YDF leadership to ensure the area produces the next governor of the state next year.

Speaking during a reception in Lagos in honour of the former vice chancellor of University of Lagos, Prof Rahmon Bello, Adeyemi said YDF is a non-political association committed to the development of Yewaland and its people in all ramifications.

“We are committed to bring development and succour to our long-neglected people. For instance, we have plans to establish a computer and Internet hub in different towns of Yewaland.

“We are producing a business directory, the Who-is-Who and a Hall of Fame publication.”

He promised to cooperate and work with existing organisations with similar aims and objectives at home or abroad, in consultation with their natural rulers.
