WIMBIZ holds interactive breakfast series on ease of doing business
This year’s WIMBIZ CEO/Policy Maker Interactive Breakfast Series, themed, ‘Ease of Doing Business: A Policy Dialogue on Regulations,’ hold on Tuesday, June 6 at Wheatbaker Hotel on Onitolo Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, between 7:30 a.m. and 10a.m.
Panelists at the event include Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, Head of Tax and Regulatory Services; Mrs. Damilola Ogunbiyi, Managing Director of Rural Electrification Agency; Ms. Hadiza Bala Usman, Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority; Mr. Bolaji Balogun, Chairman, LaFarge; and Mr. Bola Onadele, Managing Director, FMDQ OTC Securities Exchange.
WIMBIZ is the foremost women’s focused non-governmental organisation in Nigeria committed to elevating the status and influence of women and their contributions to nation building.
In the last 15 years, it has empowered and inspired women through various programmes, including its CEO/Policy Maker Interactive Series, which was launched in 2006 and has been held annually since then, impacting over 80, 000 women.
This year’s edition of CEO/Policy Maker Interactive Series spotlights the difficult realities of running a business in Nigeria and stimulate an open and broad dialogue among chief executive officers, policy makers and practitioners, with a focus on key areas, such as transparency in business regulations, harmonisation of taxes, foreign exchange rate management and power.
