Youths have been urged to present themselves as national ambassadors, showing characters worthy of emulation.

The Dean, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Lagos, Prof. Mike Adebamowo, who disclosed this at the weekend, during the inauguration of Grace and Glory Campus Fellowship tagged: “An evening of Impact,” said the youthful stage is the foundation for any nation to thrive in the future.

Adebamowo noted that it is displeasing that youths, who ought to be charting a positive path for the future, are engaged in habits “that kill the future of a man.”

He said: “The future of everyone is settled, but there are fundamental and foundational forces working against the youths of today. A lot of them easily lose interest in beneficial things and engage in drug abuse, pornography, masturbation and other addictive habits.”
