The Enugu State Caucus in the National Assembly has unanimously endorsed Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for a second term in office for his effective leadership and entrenchment of peace and good governance in the state.

Rising from a grand reception for Ugwuanyi in Abuja yesterday, which was attended by other notable politicians such as the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, Umar Ghali N’Abba; Okwesilieze Nwodo, Director-General of Voice of Nigeria, Osita Okechukwu and others, Deputy President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu on behalf of all the federal lawmakers from Enugu State, said the endorsement was predicated on the governor’s development strides and leadership style characterised by justice, equity and peace.

The event offered opportunity for Dogara, N’Abba, Nwodo, Okechukwu, others to eulogise Governor Ugwuanyi for his visible achievements, non-discriminatory, humble disposition and peaceful approach to governance in Enugu State.

Responding, Ugwuanyi, who appreciated the show of love and support, noted that the prevailing peace and cooperation between the federal lawmakers and his administration has resulted in numerous constituency projects and Federal Government interventions in the state, assuring that the years of dichotomy now belonged in the past.
