Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, trooped out in thousands yesterday, urging the former Governor of the state and immediate caretaker committee chairman of the party, Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi to come vie for the 2019 Presidential election and Salvage the
nation from the current challenges.

The party supporters, who came out en-mass at the PDP stakeholders meetings, berated the performance of the All Progressive Congress (APC) government and the inability of President Muhammadu Buhari to impact the required economic reforms and social stability capable of transforming Nigeria.

Addressing party members during the meeting, the immediate former Kaduna Governor, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero said, if PDP members are happy with what Makarfi did to revive the party at the National level, they should be glad to have him at the centre as president to revive the Nigeria.“For Nigeria to make meaningful and sustainable progress, she needs a Makarfi that would lead the country to greater height of development and growth,” he said.

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Kaduna State, Hon. Joseph Sarjuri said, “These are devilish administration, they are devilish. They are goners,” he said.
