Gospel act, Clarkson, inspires with Satisfied
To proclaim the immeasurable grace and who Jesus Christ is to man, gospel singer, Clarkson Ikwunze pen a song titled Satisfied, which he has released.
According to Abia State born songwriter cum singer, Satisfied his debut single is a very simple song that speaks basically about the fact that God is satisfied in the death of Jesus and all that he did in bringing salvation mankind.
He explained that knowing and believing this, every child rather try to appease God or pay him should simply embrace all he did, being fully assured that God is satisfied, adding that that his favourite line of the song is, ‘the wrath of God you emptied on yourself’.
“This song I believe will get listeners to really appreciate all that God did for them by sending Jesus Christ, and by such realization, cause them to take full advantage of it. I want the listeners to experience ‘rest’ from their endless struggles to please God or win his attention having this full assurance that what Jesus did for them is just more than enough and God is completely satisfied in it.”
Also an author and speaker, who is passionate about inspiring people through every means possible within his capacity, Clarkson said he has been in love with music since he was age nine.
“Music for me has been an awesome journey over the years. It’s been some decades past and it has really been fun. I started doing music from age nine, and not just behind closed doors but on stage.”
He further explained that his inspiration comes from the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, cutting across all he did and accomplished for every believer.
“This is so because I have come to realise that if we can get the gospel in all of its simplicity on the lips of people then we would have succeeded in helping many stir up the Christ reality in their very subconscious, and they will eventually walk in it.”
Currently working on a project he called Grace Rhythm, a compilation of songs for his album; Clarkson said the project completed would be a big blessing to the body of Christ at large.
“Satisfied is one of the songs from the project. A couple of other songs will yet be released from it before we head for the official album release date,” he stated.
