Oyinlola Returns To School

Oyinlola, 65, lamented inadequate funding of the education sector in the country and advised the federal government to invest more in the sector for the development of the country.

oyinla 1-2FORMER governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has returned to school, as he matriculated as a student of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Osogbo, Osun State campus for a postgraduate Diploma in Theology.

The Centre Director of the campus, Dr. Yemisi Pitan, during the convocation ceremony, advised the former PDP chieftain and other matriculating students to focus on their studies and be good ambassadors of the institution.

Pitan asked the students to take their studies seriously, as the centre would not tolerate laziness and anti- social behaviour.

Oyinlola, 65, lamented inadequate funding of the education sector in the country and advised the federal government to invest more in the sector for the development of the country.

He said he decided to study Theology to know God more, adding that he could become a preacher of the gospel.
