THE General Overseer of With God Evangelical and Deliverance Ministries International, Prophet Chinedu Ngwadom has enjoined Nigerians to give peace a chance, especially as they prepare to cast their votes in the forthcoming general elections. The cleric, who disclosed this during his address at the second anniversary of the church and ordination of deacons, deaconesses and ministers, also called on ministers of God to keep praying for the peace of the country and its leaders to be guided by the Spirit of God in their efforts at leading the country well.
Noting that God ordains leadership, the General Overseer advised those struggling for power to subject themselves to the will and purpose of God, as He is the only One that ordains kings.
The guest speaker at the anniversary celebration, Apostle Joseph Chukwuka of God’s Royal Army Int’l Ministries who spoke on the topic: “The Glory of God”, said when the glory of God comes upon man, His goodness shall start to chase him.
Quoting Isaiah 60:1-3, the cleric said when one seeks the kingdom and righteousness of God, his light would come and he will arise and shine and manifest in the glory of God.
Highlight of the event was the presentation of Exceptional Christian Leadership Award to Prophet Ngwadom by Igbo Council of Christian Ministers, which according to Rev. Rowland Nwachukwu, who presented the award, was done in recognition of his modest achievements in God’s work.
