Adeboye lists criteria for national growth
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has lent voice to the issue of restructuring the nation. At the thanksgiving service held at RCCG headquarters in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, where he prayed for first-borns and their families, the cleric said current situation in the country requires it be restructured to pave way for advancement, as well as enable Nigerians enjoy relative peace, which, according to him, is eluding all.
Speaking on the theme: “Born to Excel,” Adeboye noted that Nigeria has the potentials to make it great and excel as giant of Africa.
Adeboye, who spoke through the Assistant General Overseer, Admin/Personnel, Pastor Johnson Odesola, said restructuring the country would go a long way in proffering solutions to several unnecessary agitations, while facilitating an avenue to address important issues that would make every Nigerian have a sense of belonging and enjoy the resources God has bestowed on the land.
He said: “Nigerians should take advantage of diversification and think of what to do, rather than criticising government. I submit that the present economic situation is an avenue for Nigerians to come up with a lot of bright ideas in the area of entrepreneurship.”
He listed the criteria for overcoming economic challenges to include diligence, which, is key to the accomplishment of any endeavour.
