How One Man Surmounted Great Obstacles And Emerged As The Ultimate Leader
Another great week beckons and God has great things in store for you!
Last week, we started a new series, where we focused on the power of dreams. We continue as we move to the second part, which is engaging the power of faith.
God’s plans for you would culminate in greatness, whether you’re a businessman, a politician or you’re actively pursuing a career. The enemy has used traditional and religious thinking to keep many under the yoke of mediocrity. You are the light and the salt of the world. When you change your thinking, you change your life. God has big dreams for you – open up and let go of mediocrity in the name of religion.

Hunger is a proof that food exists and thirst is a proof that water exists, so every dream put in your heart by God is a proof that it can be attained. It is not enough to have His dream; we have to believe in the dream God puts in our hearts to bless humanity.
Believe The Dream
What you believe is what you become.
We live in a negative world, where everybody seems to anticipate heart-shattering news. Most people have been wired not to expect good. Sad to say, many expect the ‘crumbs’ – don’t be satisfied with small. You were created for impact and fulfilment. Joseph was seventeen years old, when he had a dream of greatness. Joseph believed and received the dream. In simplicity, believe the things God has revealed to you. I believe you would have started catching glimpses of certain pictures about your future. I call them, “pictures of destiny.” Sometimes, you catch a glimpse of your role in the future, this picture may be emphasised time and time again and deep inside, you know it is God’s great plan for you.
Although you want to believe, you may have challenges with your mind. What your mind cannot receive, you cannot believe. What you don’t believe, you cannot perform and what you cannot perform, you cannot become. Agree with God; place yourself in His able hands. Don’t ask the question, “How shall these things be?” Simply believe! Believing precedes Becoming.
In my study of biographies of great people, such as, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther, Winston Churchill and George Washington, among others, I discovered that although these people came from humble backgrounds, they made historic marks in life.
They may have said to you what they said of Jesus: ‘Can any good thing come out of Bethlehem?’ In spite of your mistakes or background, something great will come out of you – Only believe. You are a candidate for success. God is in the business of using the most unlikely. You are most qualified. “Arise! Shine! For your light has come”.
As you step out this week, let these words build confidence in you. You have reasons to believe in that God-given dream. God has become your destiny partner. He has become your backing. He never makes mistakes. Look up; look up, for Destiny has found you.
Confession
This week, Lord, I receive and believe your great plans for me. I receive your wisdom, as I make decisions and I thank You for a most fruitful and fulfilling season. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
See you next week!
