2022 will be a good year for me – Milly Sushi

2021 seemed to have been a great year for Afropop singer, Adebowale Badejo, known by his stage name, Milly Sushi as he hopes to build on the success he recorded in the new year.

The singer, who recently signed an endorsement deal with Akoni Bitters, expressed gratitude for the deal amongst other successes that have graced his career and journey throughout the year.

“2021 has been an amazing one for me, there’s so much I’m grateful for because it has been from one achievement to the other and I can describe this endorsement as a perfect end of the year gift. It is one of the many blessings that will be coming my way in 2022,” he said.

Milly Sushi while speaking about his plans for the new year has hinted at surprising his fans with many projects that he has in the works, adding that he would begin with the release of his new EP to be announced soon.


“I have big plans for the year ahead, there’s so much I want to share with my fans, I’m enthusiastic about satisfying them with the best content, something they’ve never heard before and we’ll be hitting the ground running with my new EP that will be released sometime soon,” he said.

Speaking further about the EP, the singer spoke about featuring the likes of Demmie Vee Terry Apala, Magnito, Logos Olori and many more. He also promised that his fans were in for a vibeful 2022.

“Demmie Vee Terry Apala, Magnito, Logos Olori, to mention a few, are to be featured on this EP. I am excited about the outcome of this collaboration and I can’t wait for my fans to have a feel of it. I’m rest assured that they’re in for an unforgettable vibeful ride in the coming year.”
