2024 is hydra-headed year, says Olukoya

Olukoya

The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Worldwide, Dr Daniel Olukoya, has described the New Year 2024 as a hydra-headed year with plenty of things to rejoice about and plenty to worry about.

Olukoya, in his New Year message during the Cross-over Service, noted that 2023 was running a race and handed over the baton to 2024. He said: “All the events of 2023 will dovetail into 2024 and if you could survive 2023, you will survive 2024.”

The cleric, who assured MFM members of God’s open doors and divine speed in the New Year, said 2024 would be a troublesome year, but not as bad as 2023.
Olukoya, while admonishing Christians to increase their prayer fire in the New Year, said: “If you reduce the temperature of your prayer fire, you lose it. You should get your spiritual life on serious fire. Do an over-kill with your prayers.”

The General Overseer warned Nigerians not to do trial and error in their activities but rather ask God for directions in the New Year.
stressing that Christians should desist from lukewarmness.

He also warned that “many ungodly kings shall receive slaps from angels,” if they’re not careful in the New Year. Olukoya, who gave what he called a 21-point fortification key to the worshippers, warned Christians never to speak or think negatively about themselves, but should please God in every area of their lives and should not compare themselves to others.

The cleric, who also advised Christians to develop and covet spiritual gifts by praying to see visions, urged the congregation to serve God with all their might, strive for excellence, be heavenly conscious, reject discouragement like David and be spiritually watchful.

“We must increase our prayer and fasting temperature; live a life of uncompromising holiness; possess the spirit of the fighter and must be addicted to the word of God, and make a decision to speak the truth always,” he said.

He, therefore, advised the congregation to develop a healthy and spiritual family life and should abandon old life, saying that only God will bless them in the new year.
