Beneficaries

No fewer than 500 residents of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Council in Lagos State, recently benefitted from a free medical outreach sponsored by Prince Oyebowale  Wahab Oluwa.

The outreach, according to Oluwa,  an aspirant in the forth-comimg local council election in the state, said his intention was to give the masses, especially the poor, quality medical attention, diagnosis, and treatment for free. Walking aids such as crutches, wheel chair and others were presented to those in need.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Moroof Atanda Amodu Tijani Oluwa, the Olu of Iwa and Apapa Kingdom, encouraged the masses to always approach health care facilities.

Oluwa said that approaching quality health care facility at the primary, secondary or tertiary levels, was better than patronizing quacks.
He emphasised the need for proper hygiene and clean environment for good health.

Oluwa, who said he was complementing government’s effort, added that the free medical outreach was targeted at the vulnerable members of the community, particularly men, women and children, as well as the aged, “who cannot afford the cost of medical services.”

He said touching lives gave him joy, and he was happy to put smiles on faces of others. He commended Oyebowale’s Initiative for taking health services to the masses for free.

It also featured free medical check-ups, free distribution of drugs after diagnosis, and free sugar tests, among others.
