American female rap artist Nicki Minaj has apologised for her “abrupt & insensitive” retirement announcement.
The Grammy nominated rapper had on Thursday announced her plan to retire and have a family in a tweet that came as a surprise to her fans.
“I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, X in the box – cuz ain’t nobody checkin me.”
“Love you for LIFE.”
However, on Friday the “Super Bass” crooner seem to have had a change of heart:
“I’m still right here. Still madly in love with you guys & you know that in hindsight, this should’ve been a Queen Radio discussion & it will be. I promise u guys will be happy. No guests, just us talking about everything. The tweet was abrupt & insensitive, I apologize babe.”
Minaj promised she’ll discuss it on her Queen Radio show on Apple Music’s “Beats 1.”
Her apology came in response to one fan’s desperate tweet:
“@NICKIMINAJ can you please just address this retirement thing. You e never left us so hurt your entire career. We’re just hurting Nicki
