After weeks of silence since the news of being hospitalised, Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx has expressed gratitude to his fans for their support during his unexplained hospitalisation.

In a brief social media post on Wednesday, Foxx thanked everyone for the love and support, and appreciated Nick Cannon for stepping in as a guest host on his TV game show “Beat Shazam.” However, he did not address his medical condition or its severity.

Three weeks ago, Foxx’s daughter issued a statement on Instagram, stating that he was sick following a medical complication.

The actor reportedly fell ill in Atlanta while filming a Netflix show with actress Cameron Diaz in early April.

Foxx is best known for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the biopic movie “Ray,” which earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor in 2005.
