Tiffany Haddish Reveals She Had 8 Miscarriages Amid Battle with Endometriosis
Comedian and actress, Tiffany Haddish, has opened up about her health struggles, revealing a painful battle with endometriosis and the heartache of eight miscarriages.
Tiffany Haddish shared that she has been dealing with grueling pain due to endometriosis, a condition where the endometrium extends outside of the uterus, resulting in severe pelvic pain.
“My body be playing tricks on me,” the comedian and actress, aged 44, told PEOPLE Magazine. “I feel like my life gets turned upside down,” she added.
After experiencing severe pain and fainting spells, she sought medical help. “She gave me something because I kept passing out,” she explained.
Following an ultrasound confirmation of endometriosis, she underwent a procedure to “shave it down” and remove a fibroid.
One of the most painful experiences for Tiffany Haddish has been pregnancy loss. “It’s so f—ing devastating,” she says, revealing she’s had a total of eight miscarriages. Despite the pain, she takes pregnancy very seriously.
“Every time I find out I’m pregnant, I’m like: ‘Don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t do nothin’,” she said.
Despite her health struggles, she remains hopeful and continues to share her journey with the world. Her new memoir ‘I Curse You With Joy’ is set to release on May 7.
Tiffany Haddish was arrested on suspicion of DUl twice within two years. The second arrest occurred in November 2023 in Los Angeles, where police found her asleep in her car in Beverly Hills.

Following these incidents, she revealed that she has made significant lifestyle changes. In an interview, she mentioned that she hasn’t had a drink since then and challenged people to stop drinking for six months to see how their lives change.
Tiffany Haddish also opened up about her decision to become celibate.
