Phoebe Odekina Esohe Ejura, widely known by her stage name JustKingPhoebe, has expanded her reach beyond social media comedy into the food business, launching a digital kitchen brand known as JKP Kitchen. The development comes as the content creator continues to draw widespread attention for her comedic portrayals of everyday Nigerian life.

Phoebe’s growing popularity stems from years of work as a digital comedian, during which she has built a large following across multiple platforms. Her online presence includes over 2.1 million followers on TikTok, more than 1.2 million followers on Instagram, 549,000 YouTube subscribers, and a steadily expanding audience on Facebook. Her content features a rotating cast of relatable characters drawn from common social settings: Nigerian homes, churches, and street corners.

Her breakout moment came when popular influencer Tunde Ednut reposted one of her skits, introducing her to a wider digital audience. While that exposure was significant, Phoebe’s continued growth has been largely attributed to her consistent output of material that explores themes such as gender roles, youth challenges, and family dynamics in a distinctly local context.

“I’ve always created from what I know—what I see around me,” she said in a recent post. “That’s what makes it real for people. They see themselves in the characters.”

Now, Phoebe is applying that same approachability and sense of authenticity to food. Her new venture, JKP Kitchen, operates as a digital-first kitchen service offering popular Nigerian dishes. The menu features options like jollof rice, grilled meats, and local soups, all presented with a focus on both taste and convenience.

Although launched quietly, the brand has begun gaining traction, particularly among young Nigerians active on social media. The use of visually appealing food content, direct engagement with customers, and fast delivery options are contributing to early interest.

Customer reactions have so far been positive, especially regarding meal presentation and flavor.
