After a standout performance at Davido’s Atlanta show last year, rising artist Kwate is once again hitting the stage with the Afrobeats megastar—this time as an opener for two major dates on the 5ive Alive Tour.
Kwate is set to open for Davido at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Dallas on July 16, and again at the Toyota Centre in Houston on July 17, 2025. The two shows are part of Davido’s highly anticipated U.S. tour, which also features artists like Victony, Odumodublvck, Morravey, Bracket, and more.
For Kwate, these performances mark another big moment in his journey. Sharing the stage with one of Africa’s biggest music exports—at two major venues in Texas—is no small feat. But if last year’s electric set at State Farm Arena in Atlanta is anything to go by, he’s more than ready.
With his distinct sound and infectious energy, Kwate continues to build momentum and connect with fans both at home and abroad. His inclusion in the 5ive Alive Tour lineup not only speaks to his growing reputation but also signals that he’s a name to watch closely.
As the Dallas and Houston dates approach, one thing is clear: Kwate isn’t just opening the show, he’s opening doors.
