Group condoles with Sanwo-olu, Obasa over DCoS, father’s death

The Conference of Secretaries in Lagos State (Scribes 57) has condoled with the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on the demise of his Deputy Chief of Staff (DCoS), Mr. Gboyega Soyanwo, describing it as a great loss to the state.

They also sympathised with the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa on the death of his father, Alhaji Sulaimon Atanda Obasa


In a condolence message by its Chairman, Akeem Olalekan Dauda, yesterday, the secretaries, who expressed deep regret over Sayanwo’s passage, said he would be sorely missed.

While praying that his spirit will forever shine bright in the hearts of people of the state, they encouraged the family to take solace in the fact that his good deeds will make his name indelible in the sand of time.

The councils’ scribes implored the speaker and the entire family to accept the demise of Pa Obasa in good faith and be consoled by the fact that the deceased lived a purposeful, remarkable and fulfilled life while on earth.

“We are glad to note that Pa Atanda Obasa was a well respected community leader with impeccable character and exemplary leadership qualities as showcased in his good works for the betterment of his community, family members, friends and associates during his lifetime.”
