At the premiere of The Return of Arinzo, guests embraced the “President and First Lady” theme with bold, theatrical looks, turning the event into a display of power dressing.
Iyabo Ojo staged a full-scale fashion spectacle at the premiere of her cinema release, The Return of Arinzo. Held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace, Victoria Island, Lagos, guests interpreted the theme, “President and First Lady,” in bold, theatrical style.
The film, a continuation of the 2013 two-part release, features stars including Funke Akindele, Mercy Aigbe Adeoti, and William Benson, among others.
In line with the theme, Priscilla Ojo Mkambala and Juma Jux delivered one of the most convincing interpretations of presidential glamour. Jux stepped out in a layered beige ensemble, a structured coat, pinstriped trousers, and accessories that understated power, while Priscilla complimented him with an elegant off-shoulder white gown, cinched at the waist, and paired with a wide-brim hat and statement choker. Together, they looked polished, intentional, and on theme.
Enioluwa Adeoluwa and Saraphina took a more dramatic route. Enioluwa’s black suit, heavily embellished with silver detailing, brought a ceremonial presence, complete with dark sunglasses and a walking stick. Beside him, Saraphina’s black-and-white ensemble with its structured bodice, thigh-high slit, and wide-brim hat added a First Lady edge that felt modern and theatrical.
This is how some guests showed up for the premiere, turning the red carpet into a display of power dressing, where fashion did not just follow the theme, but fully embodied it.
