Funke Sanyaolu-Famoroti, fondly known as The Global Inspirer and Inspiration Queen, is a distinguished on-air personality, global podcaster, mental health & trauma therapist, professional counselor, life coach, talent brand coach as well as public and human relations practitioner with a compelling passion for human transformation.

With a purpose-driven career spanning over a decade in media, mental wellness, and personal development, Funke is devoted to helping individuals across all age groups rise above life’s challenges, rediscover their inner strength, talents, and step boldly into the fullness of their destiny.

“My heart to see people soar into their greatness is one of such drive that made me venture into mental wellness which is actually a cardinal aspect of human health status,” she says.

The award-winning inspirational speaker and the visionary founder of Carissa Inspirational TV adds, “a mentally challenged person becomes emotionally and psychologically disabled, deactivated or defeated. When the powerhouse (mind) cannot process, articulate or analyze issues accurately, then consequently, decisions taken are based on a faulty, misinformed and disjointed view.”

She believes, “we live in times that are extremely demanding and fast paced in achieving accomplishing goals coupled with work spaces that are fiercely and aggressively competitive thereby bringing a lot of professionals, entrepreneurs and corporate egg heads under intense brainstorming and zero tolerance for failure.”

‘Funke says, “such people are bound to be subjected to severe mental drain, abuse and collapse.
These scenarios mentioned among other undeniable factors triggered my interest and passion for mental health and trauma therapy.”

According to her, “the life coaching aspect deals majorly with the the ‘Gen Zs’ because of their sometimes unguarded, unexposed and uncultivated disposition towards determinant issues in life such as being prepped up for a life of vision with a mission, character and human capacity development, civic responsibilities and inculcating leadership roles which begins to take shape when they start understanding the importance of having a sense of assignment, a sense of direction, a sense of management and a sense of fulfillment.”

Raising a child is not limited to academic and vocational qualifications but most importantly, the character profiling of the child, she says. “A tree is grown to be tended and not left on its own otherwise it may end up becoming wild and a threat to other trees growing next to it. Coaching a child through life especially in the fast-paced world we live in and a generation that dares to be wildly independent cannot be over emphasised. The successive generation is being exposed to a global system and culture that is only dominant but also corrupts in a subtle manner.”

According to ‘Funke, “in our part of the world, the younger generation are easily influenced by a foreign cultures that don’t imbibe the virtues of mannerisms and civilty. It is the part responsibility of a life coach to ingrain these courtesies and decorum of character and dignities of human capacities as they transition from their formative years into full adulthood. A life coach is a pathfinder and a guiding light through the pilgrimage of life in order to best avoid pitfalls that would deny from enjoying the windfalls of life.”

She continues, “a life coach becomes a safe mirror for a child reflecting back strength when they feel small, possibility when they feel limited, and calm when their emotions feel overwhelming. In that reflection, mental health begins to breathe and believe again.”

She says, “this work is deeply personal. I have learned that many struggles we see in adulthood often began as unspoken confusion in childhood, feelings a child could not name, fears they could not explain, questions they were too young to carry alone. As a life coach, I do not step in to replace the family or the classroom, but to stand in the gentle space between them, helping a child understand their emotions, trust their voice, and see themselves with kindness. I believe this is part of my assignment to be a beacon,a quiet light where a young mind first begins to form its view of the world. With my platform FSF greatness training Academy, I (and my team) has been able to help several young youths blossom into wholesome adults. I strongly believe when a child is guided early, their mental health is not left to chance; it is nurtured, protected, and given room to grow into a stable, confident and wholesome adult who will one day extend that same compassion to others.”

Renowned for her authenticity, emotional intelligence, and inspirational presence,
Funke blends compassion with professionalism, making her a trusted voice in mental health advocacy, personal growth, and human development. She reveals, “a tutored and willingly receptive mind is expected to live a well-structured lifestyle. What you cannot undo, cannot be redone. It was in the course of working as a public relations figure that I became exposed to all that has become an appendage of my media work. Public relations as a career can sometimes make the practitioner feel like a ‘public servant’ because you’re actually an interface between your organisation and the public. The interactive nature of the work actually opened my eyes to loads of dimensions about human relations.”

Her work continues to resonate with diverse audiences both on television, radio, magazines brands, and institutions seeking meaningful impact, positive influence, and value-driven partnerships. She tells you, “I don’t just inspire, I build movements, awakens purpose, and turns ordinary lives into extraordinary stories.”

When it comes to the coaching of a child, a life coach does not step into a child’s life to control the story; they step in to steady the pen. “In the quiet shaping of thoughts, they help a young mind learn that its voice is worthy, its feelings are valid, and its future is not defined by fear. Where confusion once whispered, a coach plants clarity. Where self-doubt once grew, a coach nurtures courage. The greatest gift a life coach gives a child is not answers, but the resilience to meet their own mind with understanding instead of uncertainty, Funke explains.

“When Funke speaks, transformation begins,” she muses. “I saw I could help people who were traumatised and mentally held captive by depression, inferiority complex and drowned by the pressures of life open doors that they never knew could lead them to pedestals of greatness and also help them understand by inspiring them that your dream is always bigger than your fear. Your dream will take you places but your fear will take you back from from reaching that prospective destination.”

She says a good number of the people that “I have coached or impacted are still being fed from my stable of experience and exposure as well as my unbeatable skills on mental health awareness.”

These past decade have recorded great impact by the transformational and inspirational topics dealt with both for the youths and women through her online platform Carissa inspirational TV created 10 years ago as the first Africa inspirational TV and there have been tremendous testimonies of transformed lives globally.

She adds, “my online platform, Carissa inspirational TV and FSF Greatness Training Academy has been such a great gift for humanity as it is divinely inspired as a beacon of hope, inspiration and transformation centre. We are all destined to help one another in one way or the other utilising our skills, competences, gifts, talents and platforms to make humanity a better place. The challenges of life will always catch up with everyone. It’s like trying to hide from the sun or the wind that blows.”

Proudly recognised as Africa’s first inspirational television an award-winning platform dedicated to restoring hope, inspiring greatness, resilience, and igniting purposeful living, she reveals through empowering, thought-provoking conversations, Carissa Inspirational TV amplifies transformative stories and practical wisdom across global digital platforms impacting lives beyond borders.

‘Funke explains that challenges are not meant to deal with you but you dealing with your challenges. She continues, “life never teaches us to cry over spilt milk but to deal with it decisively and move one with lessons learnt, which will become useful for future reoccurrence whichever way it pans out.”

Trying to change the perspectives of others who have taken a rigid position about the adversities of life can be quite an uphill “but if you’re able to dissolve their minds by reason of a superior wisdom, then they tend to yield gradually.

It’s all about consistency, prayers and a gracious disposition towards my beneficiaries. With my faith in God who is the ultimate expert in breaking people into making them better, I have been able to reorientate a sizable number of people. Your passion for impacting lives must come with compassion.”

‘Funke says her central interest and joy in what she does is to see that she is a huge part of the success story of those who have identified and believed in her work, thereby allowing themselves be impacted greatly.

“You cannot impact a person who has willingly closed up his world to change or transformation. They are never given to previews, reviews nor overviews because their perspectives about life is incurable deformed. A pharaoh could never have repented because his perspective about God beclouded arrogance and pride. Change a mindset positively and you would have potentially changed a dream, vision or character profile of a home leader, corporate leader or a public leader,” she breathes.

“Talking about my job defining me is quite interesting especially when you take a retrospective look at your performance till date and you discover that what you have imparted over the years has also helped immensely in the way you have evolved from being a rough diamond into a polished one,” she says. “Every man’s work is meant to bring him under self-investigation … are sincere with yourself enough to audit your lifestyle and your work ethics? It goes without saying that ‘what you pour into others will prove overtime if it has been productive for you or not.”

The lady says My work has greatly influenced me holistically because “what you demand of others must first be met by you in the first instance. My craft has worked on me great deal and made me cultivate a more proactive and insightful mindset. If you cannot see the immediate future and its potential, your life will become an ’arrested development.’ I have become more calculated and deeply analytical in my thought process.”
