Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has gifted a brand new Tesla Cybertruck to his longtime associate and former label signee, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, widely known as Mayorkun. The award-winning singer broke the news on his Instagram Story, sharing a photo of the futuristic electric vehicle alongside a public declaration of his affection.

This gesture highlights the longstanding bond between the two music stars, whose relationship spans many years in the Nigerian entertainment industry. Mayorkun’s journey into mainstream prominence began in 2016 when Davido discovered him on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) after the aspiring act shared a cover of one of his songs. Following that discovery, Mayorkun was signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), where he quickly evolved into a powerhouse hitmaker, churning out chart-topping tracks like “Eleko,” “Mama,” and “Cheche.”
