Nigerian rapper and songwriter Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, widely known as  Odumodublvck, rejected an invitation from Arise TV presenter Rufai Oseni to respond to claims and allegations made by fellow rapper Blaqbonez during a recent interview.
Rufai extended an invitation to the rapper following the interview he had with popular musician Blaqbonez.

After the talk with Blaqbonez caused so much online drama, Rufai Oseni reached out publicly to invite the rapper for a chat.

Rufai wrote, “Dear Odomodublavk, This is an invitation to you again to have your right of reply to the interview with blaqbones. We encourage you to you to come say your own side of the story! We will be happy to welcome you!”

Instead of accepting the offer, Odumodublvck hit right back, turning down the invite and calling out the journalist for spelling his name wrong.

He said, “ITS ODUMODUBLVCK SIR. YOU CANNOT EVEN SPELL MY NAME RIGHT AND YOU WANT TO TALK TO ME”
“I AM SO SORRY BUT YOU ARE A TERRIBLE JOURNALIST SIR.”
“I WILL GO AND TELL SOMEONE ELSE MY BOSSMAN.

Rufai’s second invite comes following a string of angry messages on social media to pick apart how the interview was run. Odumodublvck directed his frustration right at the host and his show.
He wrote, “PATHOLOGICAL LIAR, WHO IS ALSO A SEXUAL ABUSER BY FACT.”
“IT WAS APPALING TO WATCH.”
“THIS IS NOT HOW YOU GRILL DEM AMAECHI AND WIKE O
“BABA GO WORK FOR NFF.”

Continuing his rant, the rapper said he could not believe the types of questions asked during the session. He compared it to how Oseni normally handles big political heavyweights like former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike and Rotimi Amaechi.

“THE SILLY BOY COULD NOT EVEN KEEP UP WITH HIS STORY”
“TOLD 5 LIES IN 2 MINUTES (A WORLD RECORD)”
“AND @rufaioseni SAT THERE WITH HIS UGLY MUFFLER, ASKING QUESTIONS THAT HE NEVER GOT THE FULL ANSWERS TO BECAUSE THE BOY WAS DODGING IT ALL.”
“AND OSENI KNEW, BUT LIKE I SAID, MAYBE HE WAS PAID :money_with_wings”
“WHEN THE TRUTH FINALLY COMES OUT, I GO CHANGE YOUR NAME TO PETER RUFAI.” He noted.

Odumodublvck, has risen to become one of Africa’s most dominant musical forces. Pioneering the modern Afro-drill movement in Nigeria, his ground-breaking 2023 mixtape Eziokwu propelled him into global superstardom, featuring massive anthems like “Declan Rice,” “Picanto,” and “Firegun” alongside collaborations with global heavyweights. His subsequent releases, including Industry Machine and heavy-hitting singles, have cemented his reputation as an uncompromising voice who constantly challenges industry norms.

On the other side is Rufai Oseni,  is a household name in Nigerian broadcast journalism. As a principal anchor and co-host on the Arise News Morning Show, Oseni has built a formidable reputation for his fearless interviewing style, rigorous live fact-checking, and intense political grillings of prominent public figures, ranging from government ministers to high-ranking politicians. However, his transition from hard-hitting political discourse into the nuances of pop-culture media has drawn intense public scrutiny.
