Nine years ago, I Said What I Said (ISWIS) started with two friends, two microphones and plenty of opinions.
In 2026, it has grown into one of Nigeria’s most recognisable podcasts and a live entertainment phenomenon with an audience that now stretches across continents.

As ISWIS celebrates nine years, the podcast is marking the milestone with what has become one of its biggest achievements yet: another international summer tour, making it the first and only Nigerian podcast to establish an annual summer touring tradition across international markets.

This year, the ISWIS Live tour has already travelled through seven cities across the UK, Canada and the United States: London, Toronto, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Houston and Los Angeles, with a 4000+ audience across board.

What began as conversations between Jollz and FK about relationships, adulthood, work, money, culture and the everyday chaos of being human has evolved into a community-driven media brand. The live shows have become an extension of that community, bringing listeners out from behind their screens and into rooms where the conversations, laughter and arguments happen in real time.

Nine years on, ISWIS has built a catalogue of hundreds of episodes, multiple seasons, international partnerships and a loyal audience that continues to grow both at home and abroad.

But perhaps the biggest achievement is simpler: people keep showing up – to listen and laugh. And increasingly, they show up in cities around the world to say it together.

Nine years in, ISWIS is still saying what it said. And everybody is still listening.
