“Forever grateful to God for his blessings, which I can never deny. Thankful to my family and the best friends in the world for their incredible love and support.

“And to every one of you that has been riding with me on my journey as an artist, with all my heart, thank you. Cheers to greater things ahead,” he added.

The achievement marks another milestone in Adedayo’s pursuit of professional development in the performing arts.

Before enrolling at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, the actor had earned a degree in Theatre Arts and Film Studies from Redeemer’s University in 2018.

His postgraduate studies in the UK also provided opportunities to explore stage acting beyond his established career in comedy and screen performances.

As part of his programme, Adedayo made his London theatre debut in Howard Brenton’s historical play, 55 Days, portraying Lord Commander Thomas Fairfax. The production was staged at Mountview’s Backstage Theatre in July 2026 under the direction of James Yeatman.

He also completed an Advanced Acting for Camera course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London in 2025.

Widely recognised for his satirical comedy skits and the popular Daddy Wa character, Mr Macaroni has built a career spanning acting, filmmaking and social activism.

His film credits include Tunde Kelani’s Ayinla, Kunle Afolayan’s Anikulapo, Freedom Way and Lisabi: The Uprising.

In July 2026, he told Guardian Life that pursuing a master’s degree in performance was part of his determination to take acting seriously and continue developing his craft.
