Our society, rape victims are scared of coming out because they get blamed, the accuser becomes the victim and that stigma stays with them for as long as they live. It shouldn’t be so. Thanks to The Eight Organization which encourages women and the society at large to speak out against the barbaric act.

The Eight Foundation, founded by Miss Nigeria 2014 Ezinne Akudo, stared a viral weekly campaign against sexual violence tagged “Break the Silence”. The “Break the Silence” campaign was put together to encourage survivors of sexual violence to speak out.

This weekly campaign lasted for a month with different participants as well as celebrities expressing their thought about sexual violence in different quotes.

We would share the quotes we really loved.
