GROUPS that worked for President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory during the election are in for real empowerment and total integration into his economic programme.

This assurance was given during a courtesy visit on the Director General of Buhari Support Group Centre, Alhaji Umaru Abubakar Dembo by the Delta Grassroots Movement (DGM), a socio-political group based in Delta State.

Dembo said all pro-Buhari groups would soon be invited for a post-election meeting/conference to fashion out modalities for empowerment for Mr. President’s approval. He said, President Buhari has the interest of the grassroots in his heart and he will make sure they are carried along at all times in his economic programme. He posited that there would be enough for everybody but not much or nothing for the greedy.

DGM, led by Princess Rachael Daniel, earlier congratulated Dembo for coordinating all the pro-Buhari groups for eventual victory of the President. In an unwritten speech, the group’s vice president, Chief Efe Olowu, who spoke on its behalf, highlighted the formation and role played by the association during the election, adding that, “they took the Buhari campaign to all nooks and crannies of the state.’
