The Aboh Mbaise Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has endorsed Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu for the Governor of Imo State.
The meeting, which took place at Mbutu Mbaise, saw the PDP stakeholders adopt a resolution to extend their unwavering support to Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu and the PDP for the upcoming 2023 gubernatorial election in Imo State
According to the stakeholders, they aim to rescue Imo State from the prevailing security and economic challenges, which they attribute to the current ill-fated APC government in the state.
The meeting was attended by numerous dignitaries. Notable figures included Hon. Mike Iheanaetu, the former representative of Aboh Mbaise State Constituency, and Hon. Chief Obinna Njoku, the former executive chairman of Aboh Mbaise local government.
The meeting also saw the participation of Chief Dennis Adikwuru, Chief Sir Kingsley Ekwubiri, Barrister Chuks Akwitti, state officers of the party, local government area officers of the party, ward chairmen, women leaders, youth leaders, and numerous party stalwarts.
One of the focal points of the meeting was the unanimous vote of confidence passed on Sir Maxwell Nnabuihe, the party chairman, and his executive team in the local government. The attendees recognised their commendable leadership and expressed their trust and support in their ability to steer the PDP towards success in the forthcoming election.
