Actress Wofai ‘Fada’ Ewa Replies In-laws, ‘Let Love Lead’

Comedian Wofai Ewa has issued a reply to her in-laws, concerning the latest post rejecting her traditional marriage to their son Taiwo Cole.


Sharing a video titled “Let love lead” on her Instagram page, She wrote, The Bride , and groom And our joy shall be permanent, Thanks to my team, I love my outfit !!”

The couple’s traditional wedding took place in Ugep, Cross River State, last Saturday. However, Cole’s family has publicly disclaimed the union through a viral statement.

The family patriarch, clarified in the statement that they were unaware of any marriage plans and did not give consent or support to the union.

The statement read, “This is to inform all acquaintances, family, and friends that the Cole family of Victoria Island, Lagos, has no knowledge of any marriage ceremony involving our son, Taiwo Olakitan Cole.

Taiwo and Wofai tied the knot in a viral post showing pictures of the two individuals in traditional attires. Prior to the rejection of the engagement by the Cole family, Ewa shared news of her engagement on Instagram. She wrote, “I found my happily ever after, and I said yes.”

We did not authorize or support such an event. Therefore, anyone claiming to be part of the Cole family through this purported marriage is unrecognized and not endorsed by us. Any publications or documents regarding this matter should be disregarded.”

Despite the family’s stance, Wofai Fada shared videos and images of the traditional rites on her page. In one post titled “A Queen and Her King,” the couple adorned in traditional Cross River attire expressed their affection.
