Adeboye reassures Nigerians of God’s sufficiency

General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide, Enoch Adeboye, has urged Nigerians to walk with God to get away from unnecessary hardship, calamity and danger.

Adeboye gave the charge, yesterday, at the RCCG Headquarters, The Throne of Grace, Ebute-Metta, Lagos, during the monthly thanksgiving service with the theme: “El-Shaddai” where he also prayed for orphans, widows, widowers, those looking for the fruit of the womb, singles, as well as those who want promotion and joy.

The cleric, in his message, said: “Breaking down the meaning of His Name “El-Shaddai” into human language, the meaning describes God as a mother, who just gave birth to babies. No matter the number of babies the mother gave birth to, she would have enough milk to breastfeed the babies. It is natural. The name, therefore, portrays God as “All Sufficient God,” Who has more than enough to take care of Nigerians who trust and repose their confidence in Him.”

Meanwhile, glamour was added to the thanksgiving service as the General Overseer’s wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, was celebrated on her 75 years birthday.

Pastor Folu used the occasion to pray for Nigeria.

The General Overseer, however, premised the condition to benefit from the inexhaustible provisions of God as one having to be where God can see him or her, which means living a righteous, holy and transparent life with nothing to hide.

Meanwhile, the Pastor in charge of Church, Adebayo Adeyemo, told Nigerians who can turn to God to heave a sigh of relieve, adding that if they can trust God and live in His presence at all times, the pains they are experiencing now will soon be a thing of the past as every indication shows that President Tinubu has started on a good footing.

He, therefore, urged Nigerians to be patient with the new government.
