Adepegba commends PSC for promotion of police officers

APC Chieftain Wasiu Adepegba has applauded the Chairman of the Police Service Commission Dr. Solomon Arase over the approval for the promotion of some police officers.


According to Adepegba, the promotion was long overdue urging the Commission to ensure the dignity of the Nigeria Police is restored.

He also urged the newly promoted police officers to be professional in discharging their duties. He said this is the time Nigeria and Nigerians need them to bring their expertise to bear.

The APC Chieftain, who said he has known Arase for over a decade, stated that he has been very efficient, intelligent, and professional in the discharge of his professional duties.


He said he is optimistic that the Nigeria Police will rise again to its responsibilities. In the same vein, he seized the medium to commend his friend Mr. Kayode Egbetokun (IGP), for the efficiency of the police in maintaining law and order.

He said the IGP has not only shown he knows his onus but that he is capable of discharging his duties effectively. The APC Chieftain said the combination of Dr. Solomon Arase and Mr. Kayode Egbetokun has given the Nigeria Police a new face worthy of emulation.

In his final submission, he seized the medium to particularly congratulate his brother and friend Abiodun Oladimeji Asabi CP (Ondo State), on his promotion as AIG. Adepegba said he is confident Mr. Asabi will keep the people of Ondo State safe and protected.


In the same vein, he seized the medium to commend the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), for his tireless efforts towards making the Service Commission work again.

Also he saluted his brother and friend Femi Gbajabiamila (Chief of Staff to the President) and commended the Senate President Godswill Akpabio and the National President of Miyetti Allah (Kautal Hore, Bello Bodejo). He concluded with prayer for unity and progress in Nigeria.
