Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has approved the appointment of Commander of State Security Network, Amotekun Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, as his Special Adviser (SA) on Security Matters.

A statement issued in Akure yesterday by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the governor, Richard Olatunde, revealed that the appointment takes immediate effect.

“Adeleye will, however, continue to function as the Commander of the Ondo State Amotekun Corps.

“His appointment is part of the state government efforts to further strengthen the security arrangement and improve the working relationship between government and security agencies in the state.”

“Governor Akeredolu congratulates the new appointee while charging him to double efforts in the fight against crime and criminality in the state,” the statement reads.
