Nick Cannon released his new song titled “Alone,” in celebration of Valentine’s day. The song is allegedly dedicated to his ex-wife, Mariah Carey.

The song’s release comes two weeks after the star and girlfriend Bre Tiesi had a gender reveal party of a baby boy.

Cannon, in the song, wishes he was spending the day with a particular person and he showcases Mariah Carey’s 1990 song from her debut album, “Alone in Love.” Despite the fact that Nick does not utter her name  Mariah’s name, the lyrics imply that it’s talking about Carey.

Nick sings, “I say I’m cool when I know I miss it/I’d trade it all for the case/If I could have you back/If I could go back to where we started at.” The lyrics continue, “As much as I want you back/It’s probably better where you at.”

No response has been made by Mariah Carey, and he has not addressed the allegations that the song is really about Mariah Carey.
