Following the success of her popular song “On My Own,” which is presently trending on radio and social media, Nigerian singer and songwriter, Amaeya is getting ready to drop her first single of 2024 “Delusion”
The gifted singer-songwriter Amaeya made her musical debut in 2021 following her incredible journey on the well-known reality singing competition The Voice Nigeria. She joined the choir at an early age, which began her musical adventure. Her favourite genres of music to listen to were R&B, gospel, and soul.
She’s well-known for putting a modern touch on the style. Soulful voice, mellow melodies, and approachable lyrics that touch on themes of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery are what make her music stand oudown
Following the lockout, she relocated to Lagos to advance her artistic career. She sang backing vocals for a number of musicians, including Tems, Ric Hassani, Tiwa Savage, Lojay, Tomi Thomas, Skiibii, Show dem Camp, and Asake.
Amaeya chose to apply for The Voice Nigeria in order to further develop her talent after establishing a distinctive style, Her outspoken nature is powered by the voices of the women she looks up to who tread their own paths with autonomy and elegance.

As Amaeya becomes more aware of the business aspect of music, she is adamant on building a foundation that is fuelled by passion rather than pragmatism. With an incredible single “On My Own” under her belt, she is eager to share more authentic and unabashed perspectives.
