Angel Foundation donates to pupils in Ogun community

In a display of generosity and commitment to education, The Angel Foundation has executed a heart-warming educational support project at Saint Michael’s African Church School penultimate Friday, leaving a lasting impact on the school community.

Saint Michael’s African Church School, a primary school located in Ipari Nla, welcomed the initiative, which aims to enhance the educational experience and facilities for its 80 students and dedicated faculty of seven teachers.

For each of the 80 students, the project provided a comprehensive package including 10 packs of exercise books, a brand-new school uniform, sportswear, a custom-made school bag, and comfortable school sandals. This gesture not only equipped the students with essential educational materials but also instilled a sense of pride and belonging within the school community.

Furthermore, the school received playground equipment, comprising a playground slide, swing set, merry-go-round, and football goalposts. These additions are set to enrich the students’ recreational activities and promote physical well-being.

Additionally, as part of the project, the renovation of the school signpost was carried out, further enhancing the school’s aesthetic appeal and visibility within the community.

The teachers were honoured with an appreciation award and a small bag of rice. This gesture symbolizes the deep appreciation for their dedication and commitment to nurturing the young minds of the community.

The project at Saint Michael’s African Church School serves as a shining example of how collective action and generosity can uplift communities and transform lives. As the school continues its journey of nurturing young minds, the impact of this initiative will be felt for years to come.

Reflecting on the successful execution of the project, founder of The Angel Foundation, Mr Oluwaseun Hassan, reiterated his steadfast commitment to effecting lasting change through education. He emphasized the transformative power of basic education in shaping brighter futures for children and reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to do more for the school.
