The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, Sylvanus Namang, has been shot dead.
APC chairman in Plateau, Rufus Bature, confirmed Namang’s death.
It was gathered that Namang was shot dead on Saturday outside his hotel room at about 7:30 pm, in Pankshin town, Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Bature described Namang as someone who was deeply committed to the development of the APC at the grassroots and state levels.

He added that the party will prepare an official statement on the incident.
The police is yet to speak on Namang’s death.
