The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris, as winner of the governorship election in Kebbi State.
INEC’s Returning Officer, Prof. Saidu Yusuf, while declaring the supplementary results at the state headquarters of the commission, said that the APC’s candidate won the election after meeting up the requirements of the process.
He said that Idris polled 409,225 votes to defeat his opponent from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Aminu Bande, who scored 360,944 votes.
