
Lagos-based public relations consultancy company – Ivi PR has concluded an intensive training programme for communication personnel.
The training, IviTrybe is designed to equip aspiring Public Relations (PR) professionals with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in today’s dynamic world of public relations.
The Guardian gathered that the six weeks virtual training sessions encompassed a carefully curated curriculum that equipped participants with a deep understanding of the vital aspects of public relations.
Participants gained hands-on experience, deep insights and invaluable practical skills necessary to thrive in the competitive landscape of public relations.
As part of the programme, aspiring PR pros received training in a wide range of key areas, including media relations, crisis management, client service, strategic brand positioning and how to pitch stories to the media, among other topics.
Chief Executive Officer of Ivi PR, Nosa Iyamu, said the approach ensured that participants obtained a holistic understanding of modern PR practices and developed a diverse skill set adaptable to various industries and scenarios.
He said the programme’s curriculum blended theoretical knowledge with real-world case studies, providing participants with a solid foundation to navigate the complexities of the PR industry.
Iyamu said the aspiring PR pros honed their abilities to craft compelling narratives, build relationships with key stakeholders and effectively manage communication campaigns.
