Ariana Grande has released her seventh studio album, “Eternal Sunshine”, and it has fans talking about the possible reason behind her divorce from Dalton Gomez.

The pop star, who married the luxury real estate agent in May 2021 and filed for divorce in September 2023, seems to accuse him of cheating on her with another woman in the song “Eternal Sunshine”.

In the song, Grande sings: “So now we play our separate scenes // Now, now she’s in my bed, mm-mm, layin’ on your chest // Now I’m in my head, wonderin’ how it ends.” She also sings: “Showed you all my demons, all my lies // Yet you played me like Atari // Now it’s like I’m lookin’ in the mirror // Hope you feel alright when you’re in her / I found a good boy and he’s on my side.”

The lyrics suggest that Gomez was unfaithful to Grande during their marriage, and that she has moved on with her “Wicked” co-star Ethan Slater, who plays Boq, a Munchkin who has a crush on her character Glinda.

Grande and Slater met on the set of the movie adaptation of the popular Broadway musical, which began filming in late 2022. The couple has been spotted together at various events, such as a Disney park in Florida and a preview performance of Broadway’s “Spamalot”.

Prior to the album’s release, Grande faced accusations of being a homewrecker when she started dating Slater, who was married at the time. Slater filed for divorce from his high school sweetheart Lilly Jay in July 2023, around the same time that he and Grande started dating.

A source told Page Six that Slater and Jay’s marriage was “already over” before he met Grande and that he is “trying to take the high road” for the sake of their child.

Ariana Grande is back with her seventh studio album, “Eternal Sunshine.” The album features 12 tracks and was released on March 8, 2024.
Grande has described the album as “a reflection of my journey of healing and finding love again”. She will also perform songs from the album on Saturday Night Live on March 9, 2024.
