Music lawyers recently converge on the Cathedral Church of St. Jude Ebute-Meta to unveil David Olusoga Fayemi’s commemorative booklet on lawyers in music. The event was climax of activities celebrating 90th Choir Festival of the oldest church choir on Mainland Lagos.

The booklet featured 90 music lawyers in Nigeria, starting with father of music lawyers in the country, Justice Tunji Sowande, a member of the music family of the Sowande of Lagos, which also boasts of the legendary Fela Sowande.

The event also signalled the flagging-off of the newly inducted Lagos Lawyers Choir Ensemble, which was performed by Chief Richard Ahonaruogho (SAN).
