The 2nd edition of the African Creators Summit, held at the Balmoral Convention Center, VI, Lagos, has once again highlighted the power of content as a transformative tool. With over 2,500 aspiring creators in attendance and some of Africa’s biggest digital voices present, the event reinforced its growing influence in the creative industry.
Co-founded by Unique Kings Obi and Oladapo Adewumi, the summit built on the success of its first edition in January 2024. Speaking on this year’s milestone, Kings Obi emphasized the role of content beyond entertainment.
“This summit is shaping a future where content drives industries like health, finance, and governance,” he stated.
The first day featured panel sessions with Brainjotter, Lasisi Elenu, Kiekie, Aproko Doctor, Ify’s Kitchen, and more, alongside a keynote by Ayo Adeagbo, SA to the President on Art, Culture, and Creative Economy.
The second day, The Feast, gathered 250 top creators for discussions on industry growth and collaboration, concluding with a symbolic shared meal.
“The African Creators Summit is uniting and elevating the industry,” Kings Obi noted. “This is just the beginning.”
