The 2nd edition of the African Creators Summit, held at the Balmoral Convention Center, VI, Lagos, has once again proven that content is more than just entertainment—it is a powerful tool for business and brand growth. The two-day event, co-founded by Unique Kings Obi and Oladapo Adewumi, brought together over 2,500 aspiring creators and some of the biggest names in the industry.

Speaking at the summit, Unique Kings Obi, a key figure in content strategy and talent management, emphasized how digital storytelling is transforming businesses.

“Content is no longer just about going viral—it’s about building brands and businesses. Creators today are not just entertainers; they are entrepreneurs,” he stated.

The first day featured panel discussions with Brainjotter, Lasisi Elenu, Kiekie, Aproko Doctor, Ify’s Kitchen, and others, focusing on how content creation is now central to marketing, product launches, and personal branding. A keynote speech by Ayo Adeagbo, SA to the President on Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, highlighted how government and private sectors are looking to digital creators for innovative storytelling.

The second day, The Feast, gathered 250 top creators for a closed-door session where discussions revolved around monetization strategies, brand partnerships, and the future of digital influence in Africa. The event ended with a symbolic meal, reinforcing the unity and collaboration within the industry.

“The African Creators Summit is redefining how we see content. It’s not just social media trends—it’s a career, a business, and a tool for economic growth,” Unique Kings Obi concluded. “This is the future, and we are just getting started.”
