Atlanta Black Chambers appoints Adeyemi GOC’s communication lead

The Atlanta Black Chambers (ABC) has appointed Samuel O. Adeyemi as the Communication Lead for the Chamber’s Global Opportunity Committee. 
As GOC Communication Lead GOC, Adeyemi would spearhead the global communication efforts of the Committee aimed at fulfilling the ambitious 10-year objective of reaching $100 billion in global transactions for Black businesses. 

He will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations strategies, managing media relations, and handling crisis communication.

According to the statement signed by the Chairman, GOC, Atlanta Black Chambers, Ricardo Berrís, Adeyemi will be overseeing brand management to enhance the GOC’s reputation and maintain positive relationships with the media, stakeholders, and the public.

He said: “We are thrilled to appoint Adeyemi as the Communication Lead for the whole Global Opportunity Committee and Regional Lead of the Committee for Nigeria. His extensive experience in global communication and commitment to our mission make him an ideal candidate for these crucial roles.

“His experience as the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Media DNA, a global communication PR firm, makes him particularly well-suited for this role, bringing valuable insights and expertise to enhance the communication strategy of the GOC. Samuel will also leverage his expertise to promote the initiatives of the GOC globally.

“Adeyemi will play a dual role, significantly contributing to the ABC’s mission to foster economic development, trade, and partnerships in Nigeria, as well as overseeing strategic communication for the GOC.”

The statement also noted that the GOC within the Atlanta Black Chambers (ABC) is dedicated to equipping members with vital information and facilitating access to lucrative trade, partnership, and investment prospects worldwide. 

“Over the past year alone, the GOC has made a significant impact, extending its reach to over 1,000 businesses spanning 35 countries, facilitating opportunities valued at more than $100 million.”

President & CEO of Atlanta Black Chambers (ABC), Mr. Melvin Coleman, expressed confidence in the growth and impact that Adeyemi will bring to the table in shaping the future of access, collaboration, and connection for Black businesses on a global scale.
