#AWCABIG60 Entertain Dignitaries With Art, Food And Short Movies

AWCA exhibited Tunde Alara Art collections at the Big60 event. Tunde Alara artwork displays his life, it talks about him as an artist, where he presently is, his progress and future achievements. His magnificent art collections displayed what he is trying to reinvent himself as, even though there are still elements of the old him. His collections were not planned, although he had an idea of what he wanted, he concluded his artwork without knowing what it basically looked like.

As a Nigerian artist, the expectations from the Nigerian audience is quite different from what he depicts. His recent art collection were personal.

Chef Imoteda filled the atmosphere with her strong aroma hoozing out of her kitchen. The Head Chef at “Heels in the Kitchen”  prepared a Nigerian fusion menu which had beautiful African slang. For starter, she served salad which she calls “Coolu Temper” and sea food moi-moi “Gra Gra.” Her main dishes were pepper soup braised beef “Omo jaye jaye“, pan seared croaker fillet with slow cooked spicy snail “Konko below”  and hearty butternut squash chill with black beans and green olives “Nothing for you.” Her deserts were Akamu creme brulee “Never far away” and pitange cherry pie “Surulere” Her side dishes were warm quinoa salad with raisins and almonds, creamy yam mash and sautered mushrooms and bacon greens.

Imoteda is a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef, she has been cooking professionally for a year now and she plans on building her technical skills in Spain. she shared her passion for cooking with family and friends before deciding to share it with the world.

AWCA featured directors like Udoka Oyeka, who showcased a movie titled ‘No Good Turn

His short movie talked about the horrible blood shed Nigerians are facing in the arms of the terrible “Boko Harram”. it concentrated on a hospital which was flooded with a lot of injured and dead bodies after the “Boko Harram” members attacked the market and  police station. unfortunately for the attacker, he was still alive and families of the victims were tempted to avenge the death of their loved ones.

ToluAjayi also showcased his movie ‘Thirst’ it talked about how water pollution is killing people in the urban area. Nigeria is blessed with enough water, we are surrounded by water but cannot make use of it because it is a threat to our lives. it was shot underwater, it is a magnificent piece, short but also mighty.
