Bank commits to reducing financial inclusion gap

A payment service bank, Hope Bank, has reiterated its commitment to the financial inclusion agenda of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Managing Director of the bank, Ogechi Altraide, stated this in Lagos, during the kickoff of the second edition of the bank’s wallet promo 2.0, with its first draw of the season.

Altraide said the campaign focused on driving financial inclusion, ensuring that more Nigerians can access and participate in banking services.

According to her, the initiative from the bank is also an avenue to appreciate customers who have demonstrated confidence and loyalty, by committing their hard-earned funds and transacting with the bank.

While encouraging Nigerians to take advantage of the ongoing promo, she said that a total of N24 million cash reward is up for grabs for lucky Nigerians, who will participate in the promo through weekly draws.

Besides, 40 customers jointly won a total sum of two million naira at the draw. The promo is expected to run till September 2023 and will see customers cart away the total sum of N24 million in cash prizes.

Elaborating on how to participate in the promo, Group Head Operations, Hope Bank, Sunday Abah, said the scheme is open to both existing and new customers of the bank. All that is required is for customers to carry out weekly transactions worth N10,000 to qualify for the weekly draws.

He added that over 500 customers of the bank qualified for this week’s draw alone and encouraged customers and non-customers to join the promo so they can also win.
