Barack Obama Releases Annual Summer Playlist And Reading List

Former President Barack Obama has released his annual summer playlist and reading list, offering a mix of old and new favorites that he’s been enjoying in the warmer months.


The playlist, which is available on Spotify, features a wide range of genres, from hip-hop and R&B to rock and pop. Some of the highlights include:

“Only Have Eyes 42” by Janelle Monáe
“Blue Train” by John Coltrane
“Dancing In the Dark” by Bruce Springsteen

Obama’s reading list is also eclectic, featuring a mix of fiction and nonfiction, classics and new releases. Some of the books on the list include:
