Bello’s maiden book 3:15 hits bookshelves

Amina Salisu BelloEighteen-year-old, storyteller, Amina Salisu Bello, has released her maiden book titled, 3:15. With the book, the youngster gives life to her imagination, putting her inner thoughts on prints to people to read.

The book tells the story of a teenager, Rachel Miller, who goes to college with her dark history and begins to witness strange events.

She meets her roommate, Alice, who cautions her never to open the door at 3:15, as she realises that all the fiendish happenings take place at that time.

Knowing this, Alice relies on faith to protect her. Targeted at teenagers, the book centres on trust and religion.


Speaking on the book, the Abuja-born writer who is currently in her final year at the University of Abuja, where she is studying History and Diplomatic Studies, notes: “I believe that creativity can come in several ways, but what inspired me to write the book is my desire to birth something exceptional that will make my words reach millions of people.

“Also, my desire and love for the horror genre of literature really spurred me; it opened a new vista for me to write horror novels. Above all, my greatest inspiration is my elder sister who supported and inspired me to do more.”
