BET Awards: Tems Wins Best Gospel/Inspirational Prize

Nigerian singer Tems emerged victorious at the 2024 BET Awards, claiming the prestigious Dr Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational prize.

On Monday, Tem’s “Me & U” triumphed over acclaimed artists such as Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans, and Maverick City Music at the Peacock Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles.

Tems, a Grammy Award winner in 2022 for Best International Act and Best Collaboration (Wizkid’s ‘Essence’), continues to solidify her presence on the global stage. The BET Awards, established by Black Entertainment Television in 2001, celebrate outstanding achievements in black entertainment.
